We are looking for volunteer Lifeguards with some pool experience and the ability to work flexible shifts.

If you have excellent skills in the water, good communication and observational skills, a good level of level of concentration and the ability to keep calm and act quickly in an emergency. We still want to hear from you even if you are not a qualified lifeguard as We can provide full support and training required to qualify as lifeguard such as NPQL qualifications and First Aid alongside a general induction. There will be additional training in specific areas depending on the needs of the role and your interest, such as the Pool Plant Qualification.

We are looking for someone dedicated and committed to provide a friendly welcome, good customer service and provide up to date information to all customers and visitors at Moseley Road Baths.

You will be welcoming swimmers and visitors, answering their queries and taking payments and bookings. Other key tasks include keeping records of pool attendance, ensuring that visitors and contractors sign in and out, dealing with customer feedback and referring matters to the Manager if needed.

If you have good communication skills, a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and some free time to help out then we would love to hear from you.

In return we will provide the training you need and any additional training in specific areas depending on the needs of the role. Our insurance covers you when you are working as a volunteer.

Hours of work will be flexible depending on individuals’ availability but we need some reliability and commitment. A regular weekly commitment would be great but many variations are possible.

We need someone with experience or knowledge in social media marketing or as a digital media landscape including various social media sites. This job role requires someone to be responsible for contributing to website redesign projects, monitoring and posting on blogs and social networks, engaging in online forums, participating in online outreach and promotion, optimising our website and conducting keyword analysis.

It is also important that you have good consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.

We are in desperate need of volunteers to maintain and improve the condition of Moseley Road Baths’ building fabric, plant, equipment and decor of Moseley Road Baths in order for it to operate smoothly and look its best.
With support from onsite staff and in accordance with the procedures we share with you, the role involves undertaking maintenance tasks as part of a team, including painting and decorating, glazing repairs, conservation cleaning, clearing and sorting spaces, mechanical maintenance, minor repairs to fixtures and fittings. (all tasks will be subject to conservation and H&S policies, and to the limits of MRB CIO’s licence with the landlord and Birmingham City Council).
