We are hiring!

Moseley Road Baths is at an exciting time in its evolution. The campaign to save the Baths, launched by the Friends of MRB many years ago and joined by many local people, as well as national and international heritage organisations and Birmingham City Council, has succeeded: the
Baths remains in operation and will be saved for future generations.

The Baths have received funding from Historic England, Birmingham City Council and the World Monuments Fund to carry out the first phases of capital repairs to the building (the current phase of which is nearing completion); and recently the coalition team led by the National Trust has
successfully applied for £15.6m from the Levelling Up Fund (LUF) for major capital repairs to the Baths and Balsall Heath Library, and to the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) for a Development Grant to work up proposals for a Round 2 Lottery Application in 2024 – which if successful will ensure that swimming returns to the Gala Pool. Whilst the LUF funding purely covers the cost of capital work, the NLHF Round 1 Development Grant enables us to test out further activity and planning which will support the CIO to become sustainable into the future (essentially it helps us create our future business plan) as well as planning out the capital work for Round 2.
