A rare opportunity to see inside the gala pool roof!
Recent enabling works were carried out to remove decades of waste material from the roof space above the gala pool and Jakub Grabski, our Duty Manager, took advantage of the chance to peek inside to take this amazing photo.
Now that this space has been cleared, Birmingham City Council’s next step will be to work alongside Historic England and National Trust to appoint a contractor to carry out repairs to the roof of the gala pool to prevent any further deterioration.
Once that has been done, the public will be able to see inside the gala pool once more and the Friends of Moseley Road Baths will be able to host their regular open days once more!
