Wheelchair Access Points
Access to the Pool 2
We are a Grade 2* listed heritage swimming baths. Wheelchair/level access is via the rear of the building, via Edward Road and through the blue double doors which offer step free access. Please call 0121 439 0320 from the rear of the building waiting for the doors to be opened and poolside staff will open the doors. People with disabilities are welcome to attend any appropriate session, as are their carers. There is a hoist which can be used at any time. There is a regular session dedicated to swimmers with disabilities on our timetable which can be viewed here.
Access to the Gala Pool
Wheelchair/level access is via the rear of the building, via Edward Road and through the gates to the courtyard. There is a designated door for step free access into the back of the Gala Pool. Unfortunately, there is no access into the pool itself but there is a designated area for wheelchairs on the Gala pool decking. Please call 0121 439 0320 from the rear of the building and someone from our team will come and open the door.
